Jade is a mineral popular among jewelers who use it for creating decorative objects and jewelry.

Jade is a mineral from the group of pyroxene. Its name derives from the Spanish word "piedras de ijada" - which means "kidney stone" because the mineral is believed to help heal kidney diseases. It is found in Japan, Burma, Mexico and China. The gatherings of jade can reach the weigh of several tons, however, not much can be used for jewelry making. Jade is searched by sculptors who value its color and quality of the material. Products made of jade are quite popular among collectors because of their unique properties.
