Olivine Mineral

Added: 2008-09-04 12:50:25

Olivine is a mineral which has the ability to detoxify the organism. Read the article to learn more about olivine.

Olivine is a mineral from the group of silicates. Its name derives from the Latin word 'olive' which is connected with the resemblance of colors. It is also called the stone of courage. In jewelry, the stone is used as a decorative stone, usually in green or dark green color. It used to be worn by people for its properties of improving mood. Placed into the bedclothes or bed linen it ensured calm and relaxing sleep. Medics advised people to drink from vessels made of olivine as it was said to ensure their effectiveness. Olivines fasten the process of eliminating toxins from the organism. The most valuable property of silicate is its healing ability - it's enough to keep olivine in water for an hour and drink the water afterwards. Such a mixture quickens detoxification of the organism and soothes bowel irritation. Rising face with water with olivine enhances spot healing whereas the stone itself helps to fight with impotence.
