Polish amber also known as Baltic amber is a famous gem appreciated by women all around the world.




History of amber:

Amber is a fossil resin that comes from conifer trees that grew 40-50 million years ago. Amber has several names which depend on its color and shade. The most common colors include red, orange, brown, yellow or ecru. Blue, green, violet or black ambers are rarely met. Amber tincture recipe (for external use):

Ingredients:
20-25g amber in special jars
100-125ml spirit
Procedure:
Put the amber pieces into a vessel and pour spirit inside, leave for 10 days in a warm place, stir the liquid several times. You can apply the tincture to painful areas of the body. Before rubbing skin with the tincture it's good to lubricate the area with some essential oil so as to prevent skin from getting dry.
