Such jewelry items cost too much for an ordinary teacher or an average worker. In addition to that, famous jewelers such as Tiffany&Co have their headquarters in big cities. Lastly, people who live in big cities have usually higher salaries that enable them buying much more expensive things. Citizens of smaller cities with lower incomes prefer buying cheaper jewelry of a good quality. Although the brands may be unknown the jewelry items aren't worse from those produced by the world-known companies.
