CLEARCLAD technology is a technique of covering various products with a durable and decorative protective e-coating, also called electrocoat.

CLEARCLAD is a wide range of paints applied on a given product during the process of electrocoating. A given product is immersed in a mixture of paint with high amounts of water and exposed to the electric current which passess through the product and paint. During this process the particles of paint adhere to the surface of the product and form an insulating layer. When the layer forms, it makes it impossible for the electric current to pass through it, that enables to produce ideal even coating regardless the shape of the product. The next step of coating involves curing the product in an oven which makes it posses desired physical and decorative properties.

What are the advantages of CLEARCLAD?

The main advantage of this technology type is the possibility to cover it with a consistently thick layer of paint over very sophisticated shapes. The product is insulated as the coating begins to form. The thickness of the insulating layer can be controlled by regulating the voltage and it is always the same across all its parts. It is very important for application of finishes of metals as it gives the possibility to achieve uniform color regardless the time.
