Holy Mother stands below her Son still remains in communion with Him. There are 12 stars around which symbolize Mary's power she had been given from God. Two hearts, Jesus's and Mary's, are near each other which means they love all people in the whole world. The left side of the medal presents the heart of Jesus, it is bleeding because of the crown of thorns is placed on it. The right side of the holy medal shows Mary's heart which symbolizes her pain caused by the tragedy of her Son.
